It was really nice to sit at the tables in the park and share techniques with the other participants. I really liked the dice for the activity to get us out of our comfort zone.

I created this art piece with graphite pencils on Strathmore 400 drawing paper. For the past few years most of my artwork has been drawing on my IPad with an Apple Pencil, however, more recently I?ve been inspired by a couple of great artists (Lauri Lipton & Joe Fenton) to get back to the basics of traditional artwork. I?m working on new pieces all the time and looking forward to share my next one!

As the sun dippes below the rugged horizon, it's golden rays embrace Yousemit?s Half Done in a breathtaking farewell. The sheer face of the monolithic granite formation blushed with hues of amber as the mountain itself holds its breath in awe. As the last ember of daylight vanishes behind the silhouette, Half Dome stands as a silent testament to nature?s grandeur, etching its brilliance into the souls of all who witness this celestial dance. 36?x40? Acrylic on stretched canvas.?Trauma? is a self portrait reflecting the emotional turmoil of Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD). I am a 58 year old artist from Portland, Oregon and was diagnosed with CPTSD in 2020. Looking back I am a textbook case, I was raised in a home with a very violent mother and a father who chose to remain blissfully unaware. The violence included being held by my ankles and hung over a gravel driveway from a 2nd floor porch, to beatings on
